Session 1:

In the first session we began to become more familiar with the play and get it up on its feet. We all got to know who was playing what character and established the structure of the play. The actor playing the appropriate role would stand up when it was there scene. And once we had gone through the scene we discussed it which was very useful because it help give us a further understanding to what was going on within the play. The read through was helpful because as strange as it sounds it was helpful to hear the voices of the actors playing the characters because it brought the characters to life. I only wish going in we knew what scenes we where doing so we could of already before school started, prepared a little more. But the run through was still useful, and for be playing henry it was interesting to see the different interpretations of henry by ella and jasmine it helped me understand the character more and gave me a view from someone else's eyes and something to think about. i made many discoveries about the character i was playing and his relationship with the other characters in the play when it was brought to life. it is always far easier to understand something when you hear it not only see it.
